Rain Pryor's "Nice Jewish Girl's Brisket"

Beef-brisket
Just in time for Passover, our cover girl Rain Pryor gave us her recipe for brisket. Rain says, "This is a recipe that I love making!"

Ingredients:

1 Brisket
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp paprika
1 Tsp oil
1/2 cup beef broth
2 cups baby carrots
1 onion
2 potatoes cut

Chop onions and place in baking dish. Add baby carrots, then 1/2 cup beef broth. In skillet or pan add oil and place brisket in pan. Brown both sides and remove from pan. Season with pepper, salt, and paprika. Place in baking dish fat side facing up and add potatoes. Cover tightly with foil and bake in oven at 350 degrees for two to three hours until tender. In the last 15 minutes leave uncovered to brown the top. The brisket is done when you can put a fork in the meat and it breaks apart easily.
