Rob & Amber Mariano Welcome Daughter Lucia Rose

What an amazing baby! The Amazing Race's Rob Mariano and Amber Brkich-Mariano welcomed their first child, daughter Lucia Rose, on July 4th. Lucia weighed 6 lbs., 11.5 oz., measured 19 ¼ inches long, and was born in Pensacola, FL.

Rob said of his new baby girl:

“Lucia is a great eater and sleeps a lot, however she tends to be a bit of a night owl like her daddy at times. She is a perfect baby and we could not have asked for anything more. We are over the moon with happiness at her arrival!”

Rob and Amber first met on the All-Stars season of Survivor. Prior, Amber had competed in the second season; Rob competed in the fourth.

Amber was announced as the winner and Rob the runner-up during the live finale. The two also became engaged during the finale! Rob and Amber then went on to compete in the eleventh season of The Amazing Race, coming in eighth place.
