Review: Puppy Paws Memory Lockets

Puppy-pawsWhether you're a dog or a cat lover, you'll definitely fall in love with the Puppy Paws Jewelry Collection. Among the line's beautifully crafted earrings ($24.99-$39.99), charms ($79.99-$179.99), and rings ($39.99), there are adorable paw pendants with colored crystals in both sterling silver and 14k Gold (prices vary) that represent your pet's birthday or "adoption" day.

What touched our hearts the most was the newest addition to the Puppy Paws Jewelry Collection: The Memory Locket. The idea hearkens back to the Victorian era, when people would braid a bit of their deceased beloved's hair into a ring or locket. Available in sterling silver or 14k Gold, the Puppy Paws Memory Locket (starting at $99) comes in the shape of a heart, oval or round. A tiny amount of cremains or a locket of your pet's hair is permanently placed in the locket and sealed with an acrylic resin.

The Memory Locket is customizable, can feature your pet's birthstone, and comes with an 18", 14k or sterling silver chain. FYI: Puppy Paws only creates one Memory Locket at a time, out of respect for each pet. And once you receive your Memory Locket, you'll be able to keep Fido close to your heart forever.
