Yum Eats: Said Faraj's Fattoush
Fattoush is often served in a “Mezza”, which is a selection of more than 40 hot and cold hors d'oeuvers. Fattoush is a perfectly yummy salad to serve as part of Mezza or as a side dish in the upcoming Spring days.

Ingredients:
1 cup crisp toasted pita bread
3 finely chopped small Persian cucumbers
1 head Romaine Lettuce, shredded
2 chopped medium tomatoes
1/2 chopped green pepper
1/2 chopped spring Onions
1/4 cup chopped mint
1 cup chopped chickweed (Says Said, "f you can find it, it is very nourishing!")
1/2 cup Lemon juice
1/2 cup Olive Oil (extra virgin)
2 Cloves Garlic
1 Teaspoon Salt
2 Tablespoon of Sumac (Lebanese spice)
Crush the garlic with the salt and add the lemon juice, oil and the Sumac and set it on the side.
Mix all the ingredients together and serve with the dressing.
Serves : 6 people
